Description
The Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Kit is listed for VAG 1.4L TSI. It serves the charge-air cooling system, which removes heat from compressed intake air before it reaches the engine.
Technical Design
During repeated boost operation, cooling performance depends on charge-air flow, available external airflow, and the temperature difference across the heat exchanger. Matching the intercooler configuration to the vehicles piping and equipment is as important as selecting the correct chassis application.
