The new "CE28N-plus" is an updated model with greatly improved strength and rigidity to cope with the recent increase in vehicle weight and higher power. The design of the spokes and rim shape and thickness have been reviewed using the latest strength analysis technology, and the design has been completely redesigned, retaining the design base of the CE28N, but with a complete remodeling in terms of detailing and substantial core strength. The "CE28N-plus" is the result of the technology cultivated in the world's most prestigious races.
Unchanged Design, Enhanced Performance
The 10-spoke layout, recognizable at a glance, and the spartan design of the center part remain unchanged from the previous model. In addition, the spoke and rim cross-sections have been redesigned to achieve both weight reduction and increased rigidity, with the wells treated in a wavy shape.
Center Part
Details that lead to weight reduction and rigidity enhancement are found various part in this wheel, but the most visually obvious is the center part. The teardrop shape of the nut hole promotes weight reduction by making it larger and deeper, and also contributes to rigidity enhancement by not adopting a meatless hole.
Face design
Disc patterns from FACE-1 to FACE-4 are set according to the vehicle in which they are installed. In addition to providing a three-dimensional face silhouette optimized for each size, this model is tailored with normal rims to accommodate the big calipers used in today's vehicles.
