The core, oil-control arrangement and mounting components work as a system. Package contents identify the supplied hardware, while actual temperature changes depend on ambient conditions, driving load and the vehicle’s overall configuration.
Design details
- A bar-and-plate heat exchanger provides the oil-to-air cooling surface.
- PERRIN specifies an 85°C/185°F thermostat to manage cooler flow as the oil reaches operating temperature.
- Preassembled hoses reduce the hose-assembly work needed during installation.
