Description
For a 2018–2019 Porsche 911 (991.2, OE Front Lift) being developed beyond stock suspension behavior, KW V4 Clubsport provides a more deliberate foundation for ride height, body control and tire management.
KW V4 Clubsport gives a track-oriented road car independent rebound control plus separate low- and high-speed compression adjustment. This makes it possible to tune platform support under braking, acceleration and cornering separately from the damper's response to faster wheel inputs. The setup should be viewed as a tunable system whose final behavior depends on alignment, tire, ride height and the driver's intended circuit use.
Why Choose the KW V4 Clubsport for This Application?
Choose V4 Clubsport when a track-day build needs three-way damper control to support changes in tire, aero, alignment or circuit surface. It rewards methodical setup work and clear driver feedback.

Enthusiast Setup Perspective
A good installation should leave enough travel for the road or circuit being used. Chasing maximum lowering at the expense of bump travel can work against the very grip and control this system is intended to provide. After installation, establish ride height and alignment first, then make damper changes in small increments and record them so the effect of each adjustment remains clear.
Important KW Fitment Notes
- KW Note 1: Height adjustable on the front and rear axles (threaded strut housings)
- KW Note 67: Valving is adjusted by adjustment knobs, rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the design of the vehicle.
- KW Note 88: Electronic damping control has to be deactivated. Deactivation kit is included in the delivery.
- KW Note 98: Clubsport coilover with top mount: with front- and rear axle top mount available
- KW Note 403: Not for cars with original lift system
Fitment note: Specifications above are tied to the exact KW part number shown and the application data in the supplied KW jobber sheet. Confirm the vehicle's drivetrain, factory electronic suspension, axle weight and any listed hardware requirements before ordering.
