Description
On the 2010–2014 Subaru Legacy (BM/BR) (Sedan + Wagon), KW V3 is best approached as a chassis-tuning upgrade first and a ride-height change second.
KW V3 is built around independent low-speed rebound and compression adjustment. KW's current V3 architecture provides 16 rebound clicks and 12 compression clicks, giving an enthusiast meaningful control over chassis support, response and ride without moving into a dedicated motorsport damper. The application-specific calibration is intended to give the chassis a more deliberate response than a one-size-fits-all suspension combination.
Why Choose the KW V3 for This Application?
Choose the V3 when the car needs a broader operating window. Independent rebound and compression control makes it easier to balance ride, platform support and tire contact as the build moves between street use and more demanding driving.
Key Features
- 16-click low-speed rebound adjustment

Enthusiast Setup Perspective
This setup makes the most sense when the suspension is being treated as part of a complete package. Final ride height, alignment, tire choice and available bump travel should be considered together rather than setting the car as low as possible. After installation, establish ride height and alignment first, then make damper changes in small increments and record them so the effect of each adjustment remains clear.
