Description

For a 2013–2017 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (F152) being developed beyond stock suspension behavior, KW V5 provides a more deliberate foundation for ride height, body control and tire management.

KW V5 uses independent low- and high-speed adjustment in both rebound and compression, giving an experienced tuner much finer control over body motion and wheel control. KW positions the V5 as a premium road-performance system that brings motorsport-derived damper architecture into a street-capable package. On a compact performance platform, the payoff is sharper transient response and a more settled chassis as tire grip and cornering load increase.

Why Choose the KW V5 for This Application?

Choose the V5 when you want four-way damper authority without moving to a pure race-only package. It gives an experienced tuner the tools to separate chassis-motion control from faster wheel movement in both compression and rebound.

Enthusiast Setup Perspective

This setup makes the most sense when the suspension is being treated as part of a complete package. Final ride height, alignment, tire choice and available bump travel should be considered together rather than setting the car as low as possible. After installation, establish ride height and alignment first, then make damper changes in small increments and record them so the effect of each adjustment remains clear.

Important KW Fitment Notes

  • KW Note 1: Height adjustable on the front and rear axles (threaded strut housings)
  • KW Note 67: Valving is adjusted by adjustment knobs, rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the design of the vehicle.
  • KW Note 88: Electronic damping control has to be deactivated. Deactivation kit is included in the delivery.
  • KW Note 90: Aluminium suspensions struts

Fitment note: Specifications above are tied to the exact KW part number shown and the application data in the supplied KW jobber sheet. Confirm the vehicle's drivetrain, factory electronic suspension, axle weight and any listed hardware requirements before ordering.
