The mount complements damper upgrades by addressing the point where shock motion is transferred into the BMW Race Rear s chassis. That makes it especially appropriate during a suspension refresh, coilover installation, or track-preparation project. For an older or frequently tracked chassis, refreshing the damper mounting point at the same time as the shock can also remove a worn interface from the suspension equation.
