Dampers control the speed of suspension movement, while springs support the vehicle’s load. Ride-height adjustment and damping adjustment are separate functions; a threaded spring seat or external reservoir does not by itself establish user-adjustable damping.

Application and installation notes

• Initial coilover height matches the OE rear suspension; equipment and weight distribution affect final lift. Stay within the published lift limit. On the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost application, set preload to 115mm (4.5in), measured from the top of the lower mount to the underside of the spring perch.

Observe the application-specific height and preload limits. Check alignment, remaining droop and compression travel, and clearance after installation. Confirm compatibility with factory electronic damping, self-leveling systems, and existing suspension modifications before ordering.
