Description
The DBA 5000 Series Replacement Rotor Hat (Gold) is the center mounting component for a compatible two-piece rotor in the listed 1997-2012 Chevrolet Corvette application.
The center hat connects the rotor’s friction ring to the vehicle hub. DBA’s 5000 Series separates the center mounting component from the wearing iron ring so that each can be serviced when its condition and compatibility permit.
DBA uses 6061-T6 aluminum for its 5000 Series hats. This is the hat component rather than a complete rotor, and it does not replace the friction ring.
