Description
DBA Street Series Brake Shoes replace the shoe friction components for the listed 1979-1985 Mazda RX-7 application.
Brake shoes operate against the inside surface of the matching drum or drum-type brake mechanism. Their dimensions and actuation arrangement must match the vehicle’s installed brake configuration.
The replacement is an opportunity to inspect the mating drum surface, adjustment mechanism and retaining hardware. Worn or incorrectly adjusted associated parts can affect operation even when new friction material is installed.
