The CSF 8368 is the Porsche 964 / 993 OEM+ Performance A/C Evaporator.

The evaporator absorbs heat from cabin air as refrigerant passes through it. Correct fit, sealed refrigerant connections, and clean drainage and airflow paths are important to the completed repair.

Installation and compatibility

Match the housing and refrigerant connections to the listed application. Refrigerant recovery, evacuation, leak checking, and recharging require appropriate A/C service equipment.

• Evaporator Temp Sensor:
• To install the factory evaporator temperature sensor (OE# 964-618-943-00) may require minor modifications. To install the sensor, CSF recommends following the following steps:
• Cut the wires in a place easy to reconnect.
• Install the sensor in the factory location making sure the end of the sensors goes between fins on the evaporator.
• Run the wire outside the suitcase.
• Reconnect the wires for the sensor using butt connectors or soldering.
