Engineering and driving character
Touring Edition balances an expressive exhaust note with control of drone-prone cruising frequencies. Its 180 Technology resonators use tuned acoustic chambers to oppose targeted sound waves while preserving a straight-through exhaust path.
A bullet-style mid-pipe resonator works with the rear 180 Technology resonators to shape the BOXER exhaust note. The rear resonators address the sustained frequencies that can become intrusive during cruising.
