Description
OMP 2002–2004 Mini Cooper Steering Wheel Hub Adapter is an OMP steering-wheel mounting component identified by the OD0-1960-BM017 part family. A proper hub is more than an adapter: it establishes steering-wheel location, bolt-pattern compatibility and, on applicable versions, the interface for quick-release or electrical functions.
Technical Highlights
- OMP steering-wheel mounting hardware
- Application/configuration-specific fitment
- Verify spline, bolt pattern, depth and electrical requirements before installation
Enthusiast Note: Steering-wheel position has a major effect on driving ergonomics. Check hub depth, wheel diameter, dish and hand clearance together so the final setup places the rim where you can maintain relaxed shoulders and consistent control.
