Description
HKS Exhaust Joint Pipe
Product Overview: HKS Exhaust Joint Pipe is an exhaust-system component engineered to improve exhaust flow and deliver HKS-specific sound and packaging. This listing is structured around the exact HKS product/SKU so shoppers can match the component to the intended vehicle or build without relying on a generic product-family description.
Vehicle Application: 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86 (ZC6/ZN6)
Driver Benefit: A freer-flowing exhaust can reduce restriction downstream of the engine while giving the driver a more purposeful exhaust note and a performance-oriented appearance.
Recommended Use: Best suited to street and track-oriented builds seeking an exhaust upgrade without changing unrelated engine systems.
Technical & Fitment Notes
- Confirm piping/tip configuration, emissions-equipment compatibility, and any trim or drivetrain-specific fitment notes for the exact HKS part number.
- Exhaust sound and cabin presence vary with the rest of the exhaust system, engine configuration, and vehicle modifications.
- Original catalog note: HKS releases a new exhaust joint pipe that does in the middle of primary and secondary catalytic converter. Stock 54 pipe is a bottleneck even in the factory exhaust system. HKS pipe size is increased up to 60 that greatly improves exhaust efficiency and goes great with bolt on turbo kit. Stock 54 pipe was purposely dented in several places for preventing interference with other vehicle parts. On the other hand, HKS joint pipe is 60 and it was made in a layout without these dents. Due to the bigger bend radius than stock, the exhaust pressure is reduced and the power is increased. Cautions: ot os necessary to lift the engine for pipe replacementKit Includes: joint pipe, gasket, bolts, and nuts required for installation
Fitment and specifications can vary by HKS part number, model year, trim, transmission, drivetrain, and market. Confirm the SKU and application before ordering, particularly on modified vehicles.
