Technical details

• Listed configuration: Diamond Black Tips.
• Double-walled, slash-cut tips; the supplied finish is specified in this listing.
• Individually adjustable tips allow their position within the bumper to be set during installation.

Compatibility and installation

• In Axleback form, the SwitchPath retains the M5’s factory mid-section, coming in right at the rear axle.
• Available separately are the AWE Performance Mid Pipes to replace the factory mid section with a 3” stainless steel X-pipe, mating to the factory Axleback (or AWE Axle Back, to make a full cat back).
• The Performance Mid Pipes + Axleback installed together will not require cutting.
• The AWE SwitchPath Axleback Exhaust maintains a 3” diameter, shaves weight from the rear, and retains the factory valve behavior.
• Important fitment notes: If you're equipping the Performance Mid Pipes or an Axle Back, cutting will be required.
