Description
Sold In Pairs.
Pads focused on low noise and low dust while ensuring the initial braking force. A model perfect for decorated vehicles, wagons, and sedans on which one wishes to keep the wheels clean. With consideration of the environment, the material is copper free.
Material: Copper Free
Applicable Rotor Temperature: 0-400 Degrees Celsius
Friction Coefficient: 0.34-0.38mu
Reliably Removes Dust Generated By Intense Friction
When the substances contained in the friction material of the brake pads burn due to high temperatures, gas is generated, and the gap between the pads and the rotor interferes with the effectiveness of the brakes. This is called the fade phenomenon. The slits located in the center of the brake pads efficiently discharge gas and pad residue, maintaining stable braking force.
*Not compatible with some vehicle models.
*Brake squeal may occur due to resonance caused by aging of the rotor, judder, brake dust, rust, weather, etc. * Some products are not applicable.
Chamfer Cut To Suppress Unpleasant Noise
If the pad has corners, it will generate unpleasant noises when braking. To prevent this, the corners are cut off (chamfered edges) to minimize unpleasant brake squeal.
*Brake squeal may occur due to resonance caused by aging of the rotor, judder, brake dust, rust, weather, etc.
*Some products are not applicable.
No Extra Quenching Required
Project Mu brake pads are pre-heat treated, and unnecessary materials that are only required during manufacturing are burned off in advance, suppressing the generation of gas that causes fade. After purchase, you can use them with peace of mind by simply breaking them in.
*Brake squeal may occur due to resonance caused by aging of the rotor, judder, brake dust, rust, weather, etc.

Strong Backplate To Prevent Distortion
The performance required of a backplate is that it does not warp under the strong pressure of the piston. If it warps, the friction material will peel off and cause a serious accident. Normally, steel is used for backplates, but Project Mu uses steel plates that are 20% stronger than the original to ensure sufficient strength.
